Fishing funtime

When weather has allowed we’ve enjoyed some great fishing ,lately with the return of the spurdogs to the West of Holyhead.  Inshore the species numbers continue to be fairly consistent for the time of year, with 10 plus available to most anglers varying tactics. These include the ever present dogs and whiting, plus coalies, big huss, thornbacks and more.  We’ve a number of spaces available aboard My Way for the remainder of November, all to target spurdogs and big huss along with congers and some general fishing.  Dates include, please check Boat Availability for more

Plan B …

With the winds this morning not allowing us our planned day afloat, Iwan and Shelby opted for plan b and a first time coarse Fishing at Llyn Y Gors. A couple rods were set up, both fishing method, with a different pellet on each rod tipped with a small white maggot. On the poles, a standard float rig to a size 16 hook for a couple maggots, one red and one white. Spurs and huss

Fishing aboard My Way yesterday was hectic in the the small window of settled weather Monday brought after the high winds of the weekend. After the glorious calm start to the day, we had a great few hours inshore catching a variety of species, dogs, whiting, huss, dabs etc.  By lunch time the winds had increased as forecast, fortunately the lumpy see only lasted an hour and the tide turned to flood with the wind direction. Pure Fishing October competition day two

Friday 27th October saw us fish the final day of our Pure Fishing summer & autumn species competitions. The first leg was fished on October 6th, which saw Wirral based angler Micky Duff set a commanding points lead of 175 to all those fishing the 2nd day in the hope of winning the Greys Uptider and Penn Fathom 20 reel available to the winner of the most points.
