Always something to do

As most know I like a clean boat, it’ll never be sparkling with all the fish and bait, but a wash down each day helps. Along with this every few years I like to sand back and repaint / flocoat the topside keeping everywhere looking nice and fresh. Tope aboard My Way

Whilst the wind blows 50mph+ outside today, its hard not to get disheartened with the constant barrage of bad weather. However sifting through photographs today from this years fishing, you quickly remember the many great days we had afloat.   Our tope fishing kicked off in April this year, when fishing for spurdogs and local rod Iwan pictured above, was fortunate to land three 25lb+ tope during the session. Fishing funtime

When weather has allowed we’ve enjoyed some great fishing ,lately with the return of the spurdogs to the West of Holyhead.  Inshore the species numbers continue to be fairly consistent for the time of year, with 10 plus available to most anglers varying tactics. These include the ever present dogs and whiting, plus coalies, big huss, thornbacks and more.  We’ve a number of spaces available aboard My Way for the remainder of November, all to target spurdogs and big huss along with congers and some general fishing.  Dates include, please check Boat Availability for more

Plan B …

With the winds this morning not allowing us our planned day afloat, Iwan and Shelby opted for plan b and a first time coarse Fishing at Llyn Y Gors. A couple rods were set up, both fishing method, with a different pellet on each rod tipped with a small white maggot. On the poles, a standard float rig to a size 16 hook for a couple maggots, one red and one white.
