Wirral whoppers

Fun day in the Deeps today with a mad bunch from the Wirral. A good number of fish including some nice pollack on the drift. Plenty of big huss at anchor along with small tope and the return of the spurdogs, only small but they should get bigger again as autumn continues. More photos in Gallery 220

As the wind blows

After a few days afloat with the good mixed fishing reported earlier the wind once again kicked in over much of North Wales, Anglesey in particular suffering with more winds up to a F8. A day at the lake was called for with the better half, with a little competition between us both on who could catch the most.  Sadly the carp didn’t want to play ball, with just a couple each and a decent sized bream each too. Plenty of small bits on the pole including rudd, perch and crucian carp. More photos in Fresh Water Gallery 2 If […]

Never a dull moment

There is always time to chill and have a giggle and this is what happened when I left my GoPro unattended with Nad and Cards near by …    For more fishing and fun videos please visit our GO Angling TV page

Plenty of roach and small bream to the pole and we also managed to catch half a dozen carp on the rods between us. Nice average size of around 4lb from the shallow waters of the Pleasure Lake … Keith was there too More photos in Fresh Water […]
