Battle lines were drawn today for the February fun competition sponsored by Pure Fishing UK Ltd. Lighter winds than the last few days and sunshine had everyone in high spirits.
Sadly though the fish forgot to turn up in any real numbers. A really hard slog for 4 hrs with very few fish returning to the Anglers, we did manage whiting, codling and a few dogfish.
However a consistent run of fish helped Ian turn out the eventual winner, choosing a brand new PENN Squall reel as his reward
