Brilliant days fishing yesterday! It started with a few hours on the breakwater with Jonathan Hudd and Gav Evans. Gav got the best of the sport with a nice huss. Then it was all aboard my way a absolutely brilliant boat with a excellent well deserved reputation skippered by Gethyn Owen
We set off on the drift with lots of action from ballan, corkwing, cuckoo, pouting and 1 or 2 other species and even a lone cod for Andy Wilmore.
Fishing at anchor the sport never slowed with lots of dogs, huss, pouting and Paul Anthony Brooks managed a nice little tope pup. The lads where well looked after by geth with a splendid chilli for lunch as well as loads of brews and biscuits.
This was a friendly match between jolly boys and hard core hounds overall jolly boys won but top rod on the day was Jon (hounds) who won a top quality penn rod n reel supplied by Gethyns sponsors so well done Jon and well done everyone else great angling all round.

Absolutely awesome day can’t wait for the next one. We could possibly be doing another friendly match on the breakwater very soon if a few are interested but this can’t compare to fishing on my way. If you’ve never been on this boat just do it! If you’ve never been out on any boat fishing then if you manage to get a space you’ll know how a good boat should run.
