With poor weather the end of Sept, a week away and relocating to the Menai Strait it’s been a while since we last set sail. A good forecast saw us set sail early this morning from Port Dinorwic, offshore to the wrecks.
The morning was interesting. Plenty of fish showing but only being caught by the two Daves! Everyone else either lost fish partway up or snagged the wreck! No names of course …
Slack water came and thankfully the odd fish still came aboard, a few wrecks and a run of tide later everyone started to remember how to catch fish and we set about filling the fish boxes.
Lovely stamp of fish filling a few freezers for the coming months
