Spring tides of late has kept our fishing on a more general basis.

Part of the day at anchor and also drifting around the coast looking for a good variety of species
Species caught included dogs, huss, dabs, whiting, pollack, ballan, cuckoo, tope, sandeel, grey red and tub gurnard, mackerel, mini species and many more.
We don’t get many bass in a season, so always a nice surprise to see a few now and thenColin caught his first tope on Monday, a cracking 41lb specimen We’ve managed a few scad too, this a cracking fatty at over 1 lb. Ours are normally mackerel sizedCuckoo wrasse are stunning little fish
