We had our first visit of the the year recently to Holyhead Deep. A stretch of water with areas of 500ft depth.
Our chosen spot is around 185ft and renowned for good catches of tope, spurdog and huss.
We had a slow start, just a few dogfish taking the baits before the bigger sharks moved in. Spurs first followed by tope, a plenty full amount of each with some good fat huss too.
