Happy ending to a worrying situation.
Big credit to My Ways crew today that were more than keen to delay their return to port in search of a missing kayaker.
Eagle eyes peered onto the waves as the southerly winds lifted the sea making it difficult to spot the missing individual.
As we made our way towards Sandy Beach a kayak was spotted, as we approached and then made contact, it was with relief we determined with HH Coastguard it was the missing person.
We waited alongside until RNLI Holyhead Lifeboat Station was able to take the kayaker aboard and then safely ashore.
Great outcome.
