Last year we wrote a review on the Shakespeare Agility range of rods.
This year thanks to our sponsors at Pure Fishing UK Ltd, amongst the many new goodies for our anglers to test we have 2 of the new Shakespeare Agility 2 boat rods, both rated at 20lb and already after just one day afloat enjoying a great response from myself and the anglers that tested them out.
Pete Minns, tackling a nice 10lb 8oz thornback ray through 80ft of water and 1knot of tide. As can be seen from the photograph, the blank worked lovely, a superb action with well positioned rings allowing for perfect loading on the blank.
Richard below with a slightly smaller thornie but again on the 20lb Agility 2 rod, strong but light and tippy offering great handling and more importantly bite detection.
