With the weather playing havoc with boat plans of late, carp fishing has been a bit of fishing sanctuary. On Anglesey for a family holiday and with a couple boat trips cancelled already My Way regular Keith Heaton was up for trying some freshwater angling.
Having never coarse fished before, it was a fun day planned at local lake Llyn Y Gors. The pleasure lake our chosen venue, where carp to 10lb can be found along with plenty of small fish such as bream, Rudd and perch.
The day was an overwhelming success, with plenty of fish from the off. Even the torrential rain early morning failed to dampen our enthusiasm.
