The Leopard Spotted Goby is a member of a group of fish that are very hard to distinguish from each other. The Leopard is by far the easiest to identify with orange/red spots standing out distinctly from other species of gobies.
They are found in very rocky and kelp strewn areas. They feed on all manner of small offerings – worms, mackerel and pieces of crab. Best tactics for catching are small hooks, such as size 14, with finely cut pieces of bait.
