Great day afloat with a boat full of novice anglers, all keen to learn and get amongst the fish.
A good mixed bag from anchor fishing including the usual suspects of dogs, whiting, codling and huss etc, plus our heaviest smoothie of 2017, a nice 16lb 6oz specimen for Phil.
On the drift we had a plentiful amount of small pollack and ballan wrasse. Plus side no rigs lost, just a few leads to rotten bottoms.
Lovely day afloat with a good crew.
