Skye arrived in North Wales early yesterday morning, an exceptional vessel available for a variety of both inshore and offshore projects. The latest addition to the Bob Francis Crane Hire (BFCH) fleet of vessels Skye is a purpose built 14mtr Blyth catamaran. Skye is available for a variety of projects including specific service concepts customised to the dynamics and characteristics of the markets that our customers serve. Been fishing

After all the wind of late it was lovely to set sail on only our 2nd Menai adventure today. Calm seas, no wind and sunshine on the cards. A regular crew, chasing species were rewarded with a steady stream of fish through the day that included dogs & whiting, with huss, thornback, corkwing, ballan, rock goby and a LSSS making up the catch. Great crew to spend the day with, glorious weather for a change and a few laughs. Big tides inshore

Spring tides of late has kept our fishing on a more general basis.  Part of the day at anchor and also drifting around the coast looking for a good variety of species Species caught included dogs, huss, dabs, whiting, pollack, ballan, cuckoo, tope, sandeel, grey red and tub gurnard, mackerel, mini species and many more. First Timers

Having not tried boat fishing before, Val & Keith chartered My Way 2 for a 4hr trip in Holyhead Bay. We started our adventure drifting over the slack water period for small pollack and wrasse, both species obliged. At anchor we managed a good little mixed bag, including dogfish, huss, conger and dabs So good, we’re off on another 4hr adventure in September, really good fun day afloat.
