Fantastic day last Thursday shark fishing.
We managed to raise two into our chum trail. The video ( thanks to Graham ) the first to appear, but no hook up.
An hr later a bigger porbeagle hit a bait and stripped line at a rate of knots. As the wind picked up to 20knots, it made for hard work for the crew to keep in contact with the shark whilst I manoeuvred the boat in between swells.
A 90minute tussle, a run around the boat, 4 leader touches and finally we could take a few snaps and release after recovery at the side of the boat.
