Inshore the last few days and we’ve had a good array of species. Drifting has provided us with ballans, cuckoos, pollack, coalie, codling and one rogue bass, that sadly fell off at the side of the boat before I could get the net to it.
At anchor we’ve seen plenty of the usual suspects for Holyhead, dogfish and huss in particular in abundance. We’ve also seen great number of small rays, tope and smoothhound.
All averaging the 8lb mark, but extremely great fun on light tackle.
