With the fishing on form inshore its always a worry this time of year how the deeper water will produce. Huss can normally be caught inshore but we have to head off a few miles to look for the spurdogs.
Being pack fish, they tend to roam the seas eating as they pass through our waters, generally they are in attendance with some days producing more than others.
Last weekend was a good day for all with a good number of spurdogs coming to the boat and Keith recording a new PB of 15lb along with a few others into double figures too.
Such was his reward for bringing along some home cooked delicious steak and mushroom pies for everyone to eat .. with extra gravy.
