Angler Report from 24th April 2017

Well. What can I say….. fished on My Way skippered by non other than Gethyn Owen today, out of Holyhead. Skipper reckons it was a slow day today, but if a slow day involves tope, spurdogs, huss, wrasse and pollock, then I can’t even begin to imagine what a good days like!!!!!!! Another member of the Mersey hound family was on board, Tom Murphy. He’s relatively new to boat fishing but with the guidance of Gethyn managed several new species and shattered his previous pb’s! Report from Milnrow Sea Anglers following a trip aboard My Way 23rd April 2017 Cracking trip out with Gethyn on My Way Started on the Mud and had Dabs Whiting and Dogs ohband a bonus Lobster for Mark Next stop back of the Breakwater and South stack for some Pollack and Wrasse and a couple more dogs Next stop in the deeps for a drift for Pollack which was very successful with nice Pollack to just short of double figures. Last stop anchored in the Deeps for some cracking Bullhuss, Spurdog, Thornbacks Tope, Dogs and Pollack. Cracking day out, wind dropped ,sun shone […]
