Thursday drifting fun

Managed to grab a day afloat yesterday, relatively calm day thankfully sandwiched between two days of 30knot winds. Fishing was as expected given the winds of late, at anchor we had dogs, huss, whiting, Smoothhound and a few other smaller species. With the drifting proving far more successful with a good amount of wrasse – ballan, cuckoos, goldsinney & corkwing together with mackerel and plenty of pollack including a few to 3lb. Wind free for a day

After nearly two weeks tied up with some horrible weather, it was nice to have a break in the wind today and set sail once again. We had a great time afloat, plenty of fish on the drift and plenty more at anchor, with a good variety of species, a few laughs and loads to eat.
