Top Really enjoyable day afloat last Saturday, despite the wind and rain early on for our first Pure Fishing Fun Competition for the winter season. As normal for winter on the Menai plenty of whiting etched onto the scorecard to start with, followed by dogfish, pout, huss and a small 5 bearded rockling. Time for fishing Following the latest update from the Welsh Government and a relaxing of some lockdown rules, we are now in a position to resume fishing trips from 01st June 2020. However as we are still under stricter Welsh Government restrictions, for the next few weeks we must limit to only one person at a time, or up to 5 from one other household. It’s been a month since we started our new fun competition the My Way 2 Species Hunt 2020. Sadly the weather hasn’t really been in our favour, the Menai Strait benefits from shelter from most winds, barring a blow from the South West and the recent storms and strong winds have restricted our outings.
