As 2022 gets underway we can now announce the results of our 2021 My Way 2 Species Hunt. The Hunt was generously sponsored this year by PENN Fishing UK, with tackle vouchers available for the top two places. With various lockdowns and control measures upon us the early part of 2021 we never got underway until the end of April as restrictions were eased. Despite everything we have still managed a total of 27 species for the anglers taking part. PENN Smoothhound Challenge day four

It was the 4th day of our Smoothhound Challenge week last Friday. Sponsored by PENN Fishing the aim to catch the heaviest hound to win a new PENN Wrath rod and reel combo. The stamp of fish has been generally quite low this year, with an average size of 8lb. However we’ve had some good mid and high teens through the week to keep the excitement and anticipation going. Friday returned over 30 hounds with the eventual winner Anglesey Angler Mark Cain with a hound of 14lb.
