We were enjoying a great catch up aboard My Way 2 last Tuesday – a regular friends get together and our first since Covid – sunshine, calm seas and plenty of smoothhounds when HHCG issued a Mayday Relay to a sinking vessel with persons onboard. Soon as I mentioned we were only 3 miles away rods were retrieved, anchor hauled and we were underway.
