Fantastic day last Thursday shark fishing. We managed to raise two into our chum trail. The video ( thanks to Graham ) the first to appear, but no hook up. An hr later a bigger porbeagle hit a bait and stripped line at a rate of knots. As the wind picked up to 20knots, it made for hard work for the crew to keep in contact with the shark whilst I manoeuvred the boat in between swells. Shark tagging
Enjoyable day afloat yesterday for our first trip of 2019 from Holyhead. Despite a bitterly cold east wind we had a good mixed bag inshore and spurdogs making an appearance in Holyhead Deep.
