Thursday drifting fun

Managed to grab a day afloat yesterday, relatively calm day thankfully sandwiched between two days of 30knot winds. Fishing was as expected given the winds of late, at anchor we had dogs, huss, whiting, Smoothhound and a few other smaller species.

With the drifting proving far more successful with a good amount of wrasse – ballan, cuckoos, goldsinney & corkwing together with mackerel and plenty of pollack including a few to 3lb.

Even enjoyed a little fish myself on the drift, with a light 15grm Penn outfit offering great sport.

Thanks to Mikee for the pic
