Weather! I feel like a stuck record … with My Way tucked up ready to ride out the latest onslaught that these ridiculous weather systems seem keen on throwing at us, another day on the lake was called for to achieve some form of fishing fix.
Keith, having had his first day on a lake last week had already invested in a years coarse angling license and was keen to get amongst the carp again today. Sadly the carp weren’t having any of it.
We had a good selection of bits on the poles, but the hectic carping of last week was not to be repeated; despite trying various baits and approaches it was not to be with just myself landing a nice mirror of around 5lb.
But hey, that’s fishing 😊
