Last weekend we basked once again in some welcome sunshine coupled with good fishing.
The ray fishing has been superb, with an abundance of thornbacks being caught. Holyhead Deep has also been kind with some big spurdogs, huss and strap conger.
Close inshore has seen a plentiful amount of pollack to 4lb with a few mackerel, herring and wrasse when on the drift. Inshore anchor is slowly picking up as the influx of species continues with dogs, huss, dab, whiting, gurnard, smoothhound and the odd mini species adding to the count.
